There are many reasons why people seek out someone to talk to and importantly, all good counselling and therapy offers a safe place where you will be heard, without judgement, about anything that may be troubling you.
I aim to support you in gaining the self-awareness and confidence you need to find a way through any difficulties you may be experiencing and to feel clearer and stronger about who you are in the process.
As well as the above, I believe in honouring the varied and individual needs clients have for counselling which means placing you at the heart of the process and going at a pace which feels comfortable for you.
Rather than seeing situations as good or bad, challenging experiences can often provide a springboard for personal growth and success, as illustrated by Nelson Mandela: 'I am the master of my ship, I am the captain of my soul.’
There may be times we feel helpless or hopeless but through re-evaluating situations we can better see our power in them and looking at the deeper meaning of challenges often steers a clearer and steadier course through them.
