How Can Counselling Help?

There are many reasons why people seek out someone to talk to and importantly, all good counselling offers a safe place to be heard, without judgement.

I aim to empower you in gaining the self-awareness and confidence you need to find a way through any difficulties you're experiencing and move forward with a clearer and stronger sense of self.

I also honour the many and varied needs clients have for counselling, hence placing you at the heart of the process and focusing on your goals/aims. I will respectfully listen to what you wish to share at your own pace.

Rather than polarising experiences into good or bad, counselling can help bring gentle awareness to the growth challenges bring. This doesn’t mean counselling minimises your distress. Instead, in a safe space we can feel the difficult feelings to move forward stronger.

There are times therapy can seem difficult and it takes a commitment from both of us to undertake the journey. My professional commitment therefore is to walk beside you on your journey, holding a safe space so that you're not alone.
